Here are the clearance dimensions as measured on voyager4x4 with 760mm front. & 800mm rear. Running on 265/65R17 BFG ATs

Factory vs AMTS
Diff mount 247 vs 242
Diff 238 vs 228
cross member 228 vs 230 (aft of sump)

seems like the lowest point is still 228mm hence no loss in clearance with these plates....unless i'm missing something

No, you're not missing anything. In the front area, the lowest point is around the cross member aft of the sump.
When I wrote about some loss of clearance a few posts up, I was referring to the fold point under the vent holes, which is where the diff mount is. However, with the Mk2, there is an extra fold and the clearance has gone up as shown above - 247mm vs 242mm. The Mk1 would have been lower at 227mm.

Thats what I told my "other" supplier last week when he demanded payment. He cut off my finger as security.....
