You could machine the plates from titanium! I saw some serious blocks of this stuff as part of my work. Damn expensive, no wonder the new strike fighters cost sooooo much money. Yes, they machine parts for the strike fighters, but hey, its Radelaide, half of the state is doing something related to defence....

Yes MLC and the other half is constructing a 2.8 klm elevated roadway. Sure to be some Bitumen on this one to soak up some of our taxes.

Can the other half omit the bitumen on the elevated 4wd freeway. This is bound to comply with the Greens and 4wding First Party policies on new road constructions.

In response to the imaginery private message you sent me I confirm I am available to try the Mark 2 version of the anti landmine plates. Just a quick warning though, if they fit I will have to take off quickly because something will be coming up that needs my urgent attention.

Can I take it from the latest update that there is a slim chance the plates may be ready by cob 19 August?

The prototype will come unfinished. I have to test a few Prados and there is a very slim chance that I can get it back to the powdercoaters for it to be ready by 19 Aug But I will try my best.

The plates are almost perfect. It needs one bend to be angled more as it is currently interfering with the diff by 1-2mm.

Measurements taken on my car:
Front suspension height 772mm
265/70R17 Wrangler MTRs with 12mm tread
Diff mount 278mm
Diff 253mm
Cross member (aft of sump) 256
Bolt head protector 246

Here are the clearance dimensions as measured on voyager4x4 with 760mm front. & 800mm rear. Running on 265/65R17 BFG ATs
