Just went round to pick it up. There's a small glitch in that there were 2 holes missing in the tranny plate. Will pick that up in the morning. The good news is that they made 2 sets.

KungFu Panda 2 is on at the drive-in, so I've been roped into that. I've got to do my family duties. The good news is that it finishes before 8pm so I'll get the front plate on tonight after the movies.

amts, did you want another test vehicle? I am more than happy to fit up the prototype. amts? amts, are you there? mate turn your iphone on so you get this, AMTS ........ Uhm, does anyone know how to flash up messages on a drive in screen? Maybe I will use morse code with my LED Lenser torch hehehe

We were wondering what those bright lights were!! Decided to stay on for Cars 2 as well.

Here are the rest of the photos.

There is a small glitch with the fold angles. I will get the fabricator to adjust it when I go back and see him tomorrow.

And to answer the clearance question, the bashplates will be nearly 10mm lower for the diesel and nearly 20mm lower for the V6 version compared to the factory bashplates.

Not quite sure what you mean but the prototype has been stripped of most features but only the essentials to check manufacturing processes and that the mounting holes line up.

this is looking good, can't wait for the whole thing to be ready. I guess you meant that the vent holes as per your first post will be installed in version 2?
