  • American Eagle Alloys 18 x 8.5

    GDay Guys,

I have a set of AMerican eagle alloy wheels for sale that were on my prado for about 2 weeks.

Now these wheels I imported from the USA myself however the first set that were sent out (these wheels) were the incorrect offset for the 150, they are neg 4 instead of positive 20. Now as far as I can gather these wheels are NOT LEGAL for the 150 or the 120 in QLD - however they were on my vehicle for a few weeks with standard (265/60R18) tires and looked pretty well (maybe slightly outside) spot on the guard and did not rub or touch anything.

Now 4 of the 5 wheels have had tyres mounted and the 5th has not, however the 5th has a slight amount of transit damage on the rim (as shown) but is perfectly safe to use. All other wheels are fine.

wheels come with wheel nuts, valves and center caps as pictured.

    ITEM: American Eagle Alloy wheels - 18 x 8.5"
CONDITION: Very good - 1 wheel has a small amount of transit damage as pictured
REASON FOR SELLING: Not Legal on my 150
PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: $1250 for all 5 firm
EXTRA INFO: NOT LEGAL on the 150, and will fit other vehicles with the same stud pattern
    LOCATION: Kedron, Brisbane

You can give me a call on 0410777704 if you want to take a look.

Pete - Nice wheels, shame you cant hold on to em they look great on your 150...
I am toying with the idea of importing some wheels for my 120. Can you please let me know how much duty you got slugged for these and if the price of freight was added to the total value of Rims? I am looking at a set of wheels @600 & the sites default intl courier (fedex economy) quoted $460 taking total amount to over $1K.

Craig i have been sussing out importing tyres and what customs do is convert the amount to aussie dollars on the day the goods are shipped and shipping fees are included. So IF your rims were shipped today the US$ value would be approx AU$950 so no duty or gst costs. It's close and is dependent on the aussie staying as strong as it currently is. For my tyres i may need to order 3 one week and 2 the next
