hey amts didn't want a light pole.just wanted the accessories pole like the one in post 7.if that particular pole is available. if not the other accessories mount would be fine and the price please mate.

That light pole is unmanufacturable if it requires a pipe bender. I think most of the demand will be for the telescopic pole so the pole bracket in the post above will be it. You might be able to make your own simple bracket if all you want is to mount an aerial.

I think I'm pretty much done with the CAD development. I just need to make sure it suits the 90 series. Pricing is TBD.

I've ordered some of that tank strap to line the inside of the clamp. Will see how it goes assembled inside the clamp. According to the guy on the phone, the section is similar to a C purlin section.

I'm planning on getting SS bolts and drilling a hole big enough for the wires to pass through rather than drill through the door. It is pricey though as it is only available in 316 marine grade and a fine pitch is required.

Looks good although I haven't measured the OD of the curly bit.

The tank strap rubber arrived today. Looks pretty good to me.


The pipe clamp is a Tridon 22-38mm from Bunnings.
The tank strap rubber will be included with the brackets.

Got a hold of a 90 series and it looks like the door skin is different. The same applies with the 150 series. So it looks like the light pole bracket will have to be unique across all 3 series which is a bit of a bugger.

The fabricator still has to advise me on the manufacturability of that internal bend in the light pole bracket so that he can use existing tooling which would mean a cheaper price.

Meanwhile, I have already got the bolts with a hole drilled through the middle to allow a cable for the light to pass through the door without drilling holes in the door. I have also sourced rubber washers to put between the spacer bracket and the door skin to prevent metal to metal contact.

Got the light pole bracket from the fabricator yesterday. It's 2.5mm stainless steel.
