ITEM: 1985 Hilux 4wd dual cab

CONDITION: Old! I won't kid you thats its pristine but its a reliable work horse.

REASON FOR SELLING: Upgrading

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: $3500

EXTRA INFO: Plenty of tread on the tyres, long range tank, AC, bullbar, 2.4lt diesel engine rebuilt 25k ago, so good for another half a million!

The hiluxs were unbreakable, I've still got my 93. I'm sure that would be a good buy, especially for a young guys 1st 4x4.

Forgot to mention its a Diesel, 2.4 litre naturally aspirated, so not the zippiest beast out there.

Funny you should say that. When I first joined I wanted to sell a hand winch (we I sold to another PP eventually) and I remember saying to Trish "how am I going to get 15 posts so I can qualify for advertising"

Kev I think your being a bit optimistic with the 3 days....

I had an old NA 2.4 Rollux years ago. Was as fast as paint drying.
I ended up dropping a 2.4 Turbo Surf import into mine. Brilliant after that.

Agree tho good 1st car for a young fella.

yes that would be correct.

I don't expect to sell it interstate, its 28 years old and done over half a million K's and its overall condition while not bad all things considered, its far from pristine and transferring rego interstate and any over the pit inspection attached to that might be more trouble than its worth for an old bus like this.
