Iv'e had the same plate in 2 prados with 2 different ARB compressors and its been everywhere with no issues.

Mounting an ARB compressor behind the headlight is about as easy as it gets!

    Cheers Andrew
yea i know, well picked up the arb dual battery system today so battery will be going in piranha tray, and compressor in arb tray behind fusebox.

Are you still considering this AMTS?

You can put it anywhere you like. At the moment that back passenger corner is a good spot for those with a dual battery already at the front behind the headlight.

I'm still working on the one at the passenger corner that can take a compressor and a fuel filter.
Happy to work on the second battery location too if someone would assist with some dimensions.

Meanwhile, I've picked up the brackets from the fabricator today. Need to check them and then off to the welders.

Starting to think about fitting a compressor and this kind of effort to produce a good custom option is awesome.

Do have one question. My mate just got an arb compressor fitted to his 09 pajero and they fitted it down behind the front headlight with an outlet in front of the radiator. Bloody good install and I didn't know he had a compressor till he showed me it hidden. My question is can these compressors be hidden somewhere else in the front of the 120 Prados or is where you are all looking the best spot?

By the way his was pretty good for noise when in the cab considering it is down near the headlight away from the cab.
