I love persons who wonder why you would buy a flag with a led light cluster being only $130....
Think of the most dangerous situation you might be in....stuck between rises or dunes with the engine off...during day or low light or worse night...with the headlights off etc...eg..worst case scenario....
Some people must think worse case scenario is going down 90mile beach with the missus..and hoping they will never place a flag on so as to avoid uneducated self embarraressment.......unfortunately they have embarressed themselves beyond doubt by questioning the worse case scenario led light cluster at the top of these flags....to quote you buddy..."W@#K"
        Hahahhahahaha

Come on ,,Think of the most dangerous situation you might be in....stuck between rises or dunes with the engine off...during day or low light or worse night...with the headlights off etc...eg..worst case scenario"" Thats not the worst case scenario, you could have four flat tyres ,the car on fire and be struck by lightning as well ,, still reckon the fairy lights are for posers but were not getting personal are we ,,,Hahahahahaha

I've used one of these mine spec type flags, as my sand flag for a few years, the base stays on the bar, it's damn handy.
But I must confess.... Whilst it has the lights up the top, and the wiring is (I think?) stil all there, I have never connected up the light.
We sand play at Beachport - during the day and usually with several other vehicles - who all have sandflags - too many offroad motorbikes zooming around not to, a friend ended up with a guy almost in his front seat with him, and he had a flag - just the guy was flying (literally!!).
I may now take a look at the light part of the flag again....

One of our mates had one on our trip to the desert. It was great to show our way back to the camp when we went out in the middle of the night (one at a time) to water the spinifex.
