Kevin
what i found with mine was it made a huge difference to the way the car accelerated
my issue was with a clutch they are very touchy off the line after that you could control it
but as i sometimes share the car with the other half, she wouldn't be able to drive it
on an auto these are the best thing since slice bread !!
same deal though Gramps has his on the lowest setting for the misses to drive and on no 9 for when he drives !!
so far the same unit has worked on my 2008 D4D 6sp & the earlier 2004 3L KZ Auto2008 Dune D4D manual GXL update - with lots of fruit !! + Roma Razorback Off Road Van

all sounding right guy's they have been going out the door like crazy as the word gets out. there are some companies selling them as giving you more power and better economy which is a blatant lie. They do however "unleash" the power the car actually has with faster response times. we have had better fuel economy on the eco mode but not enough to rant and rave about. Our company Triton runs one and we got around .5 Lt better economy on eco mode but that was really nursing it and lets face it none of us want to do that. haha

Guys
Any chance if the Prado adapt to your driving style like other euro cars, in particular the BMW x5?
If this is the case then it's just a matter of the ECU trying to adapt to your own driving style. You drive the car like a grandma then it'll behave like a grandma, drive it aggressively then the throttle will be very responsive.
I used to see similar product available for the Euro market too but i always believe it's a gimmick.
Just a thought!

I don't that's the case with the Prados.... The missus complained for ages and she has a heavy foot. Installed the Booster years ago now, and no more complaints

OK, I invested in one of these, (When Ebay had one of their sales on) Had some issues with delivery and Vendor would not reply to Emails. It certainly improves responsiveness (more so than the DP Chip I had fitted on the 120) BUT I have a problem.
Went for a run down the coast yesterday, and No Cruise Control, no dash light even.
Stopped, disconnected Windbooster, and Cruise Control Light comes back on....
Checked all the connections, all good. Reconnected Windbooster..... No Cruise Control !!
Anyone else had this issue, or do I have a faulty Windbooster..... ThanksRob
