I just bought this thing on ebay for my trip to power the fridge and camp lights etc.
Its WAY TOO BIG for me, I had no idea it was going to be this big and it just doesnt fit in my plans for what I want to do with setup in the cargo area.
NOTE: The batteries are shagged and need to be replaced. Ive had a look and it has 4 big buggers in the base.
This unit also has a 600 W 240 volt inverter built in with double power point.
Its between 60 and 100 AH depending on the batteries you put in there.
Currently has 4 x 15 ah batteries in the base.
I made some inquiries with Blue Apple who made this unit and they can supply new batteries for $250.
This equivalent unit now new is about $1500.
If you need a mega power supply like this, this is an opportunity to get one very cheap.
Yep, thats what it says, it will start an 8 litre diesel!!!!
I paid $71, yes thats right $71.
Id like that for it.
I just recieved an email from Home of 12 Volt who makes these.
$260 for the replacement batteries delivered.
