For those of you with a Prado which doesn't have an iPod interface, I'm selling an iPod adapter which I had in my previous 120 Grande with Satnav, so I know this definitely works in that combination. I believe that it works with most of the Toyota factory stereos from 2001 onwards.

This unit allows an iPod to be controlled from the headunit (or steering wheel controls) and will display information like the artist, track name and album on the headunit display.

Also has an auxiliary input should you wish to connect some other audio source in addition to an iPod.

The sound quality from this unit is fantastic and is super clear, far superior to 3.5mm inputs and FM transmitters.

I'll get it off you for $50 plus postage to Sydney. Where about do you run the ipod interface cable, in the glove box?

I ran the actual cable that runs to the iPod into the glovebox...was plenty of length in the cable, and housed the main unit under the centre console in front of the auto transmission lever.

Thanks for the interest all. It's now sold and on it's way to the new owner. Going by the interest I was conservative in price...no worries, I'm sure it will be well used.
