Walked out to the car today to remove the lights and they are Absolutely rooted. took from 2 weeks ago when i last opened the garage (the Prado not being a daily drive.) to today and the Entire reflector has turned black. I'm not comfortable selling them now. I will most likely bin them, sell the Hid kit and cut my losses at about -$750 and never buy another light force product.

        Thanks Case

must not have sealed them properly when you installed the HID kit... water/condensation is what kills them.

Bugger Case, that's no good at all. I hate see $ go down the drain like that.

Ah anyway. I'll get over it,
I would agree with you there Woolly, But this is this is the second lot of Brand new reflectors that have done this.
the lights were originally upgraded by the experts at tjm. then lasted 2 months and i was told there must have been a bit of water in there, new reflectors were put in for me (and new Oring), i left them on the car for 2 months with the new reflectors (to see if they would do it again), and i thought they were going to be fine so i put them for sale. And now i am left wondering if they are just not a good light or coincidence (car has done a total of 700km in those 2 months, maybe 10 of those in light drizzle, otherwise in the garage the rest of the time.)
might see a pair of 4 month old HID upgrades HS3 in the for sale soon!

                  Hi Case ,
i assume you got the real deal and not some chinese LF knock offs. I'm looking for a set of spotties for my new prado and on e-ay i have seen some really good blenders of LF and i think everyone agrees that chinese=crap ( more for landfill). You have to look really hard to see the difference. ON my old rav i have the LF 170 strikers , never opened , never modifyied. have them now for over 4 years and have nothing to complain about. actually thinking about buying another set for the prado.
good luck with selling the hid upgrade
                  Cheers Peter
