Water Tank – 60 litre (fits rear foot well of most vehicles)
This water tank fits beautifully into the rear foot well of all model Prados (or most other vehicles).
It is located at Pelican Waters (Caloundra) - Sunshine Coast - just north of Brisbane - Queensland.
It is not brand new but is in excellent condition as the photos show.
Its dimensions are 1225 long, 310 high and 205 wide.
I used it when doing a Simpson Desert crossing with other Pradopoint members. It was also essential when remote camping and also for transferring water to my caravan tanks. Hence the pressure pump vs gravity feed.
I have sold both my caravan and my Prado, hence this tank is now for sale.
It has only held clean potable water and has absolutely no odour. It had the “Engels” brand name on the instructions when purchased and was made in Tasmania.
It will come with two hard foam pads that sit under each end whilst the centre sits on the small floor hump. I will also supply two straps (as shown in the photo), and brackets, that very securely mount the tank to the seats mountings so that it is immoveable even when full.
This tank cost somewhere around $400 to $500 when purchased and I will sell it in excellent condition for just $250.
If you are interested, PM me for my mobile phone number so we can talk and text.
Cheers.
