ITEM: 7" Generic Android tablet with 3G capability and GPS functionality running OziExplorer software (same software used by Hema). I have set this unit up for my personal use and have been using it for 18 months. I have upgraded to an 8" unit so I am looking to get rid of this one. It comes with more maps than you could want (Full HEMA set, Westprint Maps, 100k maps for all of AUS, plus extra 100k maps for VIC & NSW, plus lots more maps I can't remember!) and the maps alone would cost more than I am asking. You do not need a sim card for this GPS to work. I don't use a sim card in it at all. It does use a bit of power when running so you will need to run it from your main accessories socket (not a cig lighter). The functionality of tablet units is way ahead of any standard GPS/VMS type unit. There's also a street navigation program on here.
