5 Steel Rims and tyres

ITEM: 5 x Steel King rims 17 x 8" +30 offset with warn Cooper ST tyres.

CONDITION: Used - 4 legal tyres the 5th is too warn on one edge. One or two of the rims have a slight wobble. Jax say they should be able to straighten it.

REASON FOR SELLING: Decided to forgo the luxury of a second set of play tyres.

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: $150 for the lot. Pick up from Thornleigh area in Sydney only.

EXTRA INFO: The tyres are old and hard. Its primarily the rims that I am selling.

how bent are the wobbly ones? How do they fix them?

Hi Peter,

I notice the wobble at about 2kph where the rear gives the slightest shift, and there is a vibration around 90-120. It feels like out of balance. They didn't say how they would fix it, but seemed pretty confident. I haven't been able to see any wobble from outside in another car. It may be the old tyres, I am not sure

Due to a number of questions, I have checked the trueness of the rims. It seems only one is out by 0.5-1mm. The other 4 are OK.
