Mrs MUMSRIG would like a new Vehicle before our trip across Aus in December so she is letting her pride and joy go to make way for it.
2004 Toyota Prado 1KZ-TE Turbo Diesel. Been featured in 4WD Action Magazine and on the DVD. Just had over $7500 spent before the end of last year on a new Head, Injectors, Hi-Flowed Turbo, Injection Pump and a Stienbauer Chip plus dyno time.
Reason for the upgrades was due to woeful fuel consumption and lack of power. Drives like a dream now and there is still plenty more boost available and adjustment in the chip if you want. We had decided to keep it for another 10 years, hence the outlay on premium products to get her back up to scratch but now that plan may be changing.
We will be asking $25,000 ono which is negotiable on what you want or don't want it to come with (we may have a preference to keep some accessories depending on negotiations)? I still have most standard components and it will come fitted with a 2" OME lift, not the FOX RACING suspension as featured in the magazine unless any prospective purchasers wish to add some extra dollars to the price Will help ship if interstate buyers are keen? Also the rego is WA rego so the plates won't come with the car unless you are in WA as we will put them into storage. No blue or pink slip provided but that can be negotiated for NSW purchasers.
The only defects on the car are that the dash is cracked (common defect for 120's and it looks like there will soon be a Toyota Customer Support Program to replace the effected dashes) and there is a small dent in the tailgate under the spare. I will have to write a full list of what is fitted but read the magazine feature or watch the DVD to get an idea. Heaps more done since the feature to.. She's just clicked the 210,000klm barrier, so with the upgrades recently performed she's good to go for many more kays. We are now getting 15.2ltrs/100klms out of her with all the mods fitted which is pretty good and running at 12psi boost. Some things fitted include a full 3" stainless steel MANTA exhaust, boost gauge, digital EGT gauge, Redarc Brake Controller, Redarc dual battery controller, new SuperCharge Overlander and Deep Cycle batteries, Provent Catch Can, Turbo Smart boost adjuster, K&N air filter, can include brand new in the box un-fitted snorkel (Tam doesn't like the look lol), 265/70/17 NITTO Trail Grapplers (hardly worn) x5, XROX bar, XROX sliders, XROX under body protection. Wireless Remote 8000lb winch with Dynema rope (I have a preference to keep but can be negotiated), Great White light bar, Ironman light bar (light bars are to be removed prior to sale but can be negotiated as they are illegal in NSW), LightForce spotties, RooLite Spotties, HID 55w headlights, rear LED flood and spot lights, Opposite Lock roof rack, Pink MAXTRAX, Opposite Lock jerry can holder, spare wheel Hi Lift Jack holder, Ironman Hi Lift Jack, Oricom UHF, Pioneer DVD/CD with iPod connectivity, 7" headrest DVD players, 7" roof mount monitor, Interior LED lighting, custom made rear door table, custom made rear drawers and fridge enclosure (fridge and slide not included), permanent 12v power to the rear, rear row seats also included, Poly AirBags in the rear coils, towbar, 12v wiring for trailer/camper, also has reverse camera, forward facing camera mounted to roo bar for steep descents, Ironman Awning with LED lighting (preference to remove but negotiable), genuine 'new out of the box' custom fitted later model Toyota Hilux bonnet scoop, Piranha dual battery tray, forward facing 'crash cam', RDA slotted and dimpled front and NEW (just fitted) rear disc brake rotors, Brand new (just fitted) Bendix 4WD brake pads front and rear, PWR external auto trans cooler and more... heaps more that I can't think of rite now . Some people will like and some will hate it, take it or leave it that's my recommendation and thanks heaps for looking!
