Neil, when I get home I will measure up the shade sail, if it fits, I will buy it. As the front has a bit of a curve can you tell me if the 1210 is at the longest point or the side which is slightly shorter.

Yes its at the longest point, the side measurement is around 1120mm, you are welcome to pop around (McDowall) to measure it up. Just PM me and we can arrange a time.

Neil it is about 1230-1240 however the bag has some flex/ give so it would be borderline. I will send u PM.

Greame, as long as you have some sort of cross rails it will bolt on, i am not interested anymore, it is a good buy though, slightly too small for me.

Do you have these fitted to 3 cross bars currently, or just the rear two on rails? Also, is the rear of the cage open as in the picture? The maxtrax are about 10cm longer than the rack, but they can hang of the back a little if it is open.

If GraemeJ isn't keen PM straight away please. I am watching a different rack on Ebay at the moment...

At 1400 long, it may just be not quite right to fit onto a 3-bar setup as the fron to rear centre distance of the cross bars on the Prado is 1336mm. The way the Rola basket clamps onto the crossbars requires the crossbars to be infinitely adjustable on the north-south rails. I don't think this basket would fit properly on the 3 bar setup unless the cross bars on the Rola basket aligns nicely with the crossbars on the Prado.

I thought your mate was making a custom rack for you? Or you could go with the new Rhino Pioneer rack.

It fits on to two cross rails - I have the Toyota 'Sports' type and it fits fine.

Rear of the cage is closed.

I'll check but I've had the Maxtrax in the basket before without them poking out.

Does it come with the fitting kit to suit the roof bars? If so I will take it for $90.00 and if I ok I will come collect it on Sunday (3rd)
