Hi Folks,

I need to offload my Storage system as I've just updated to the Prado 150. Its consists of one large drawer and fridge slide, the system is mounted on a steel frame and uses the existing mounting holes, so no drilling required. Its slightly raised so one can store tent etc underneath. Please respond via PM or via this thread if interested.

CONDITION: Good

REASON FOR SELLING: Have a new Prado 150

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: Was $500 now $450

EXTRA INFO: Also willing to throw in the cargo barrier as well for a bundled offer. 3rd row seats need to be removed when installing the system. Has lockable drawer, good for storing valuables such as laptops, cameras' etc even day to day in the city.

Hi,

The unit is a commercially made one from http://www.4x4storagecomponents.com.au/index.html in Hallam VIC. In the photo above you can see a steel tubing frame, this sits under the storage system, i.e you mount the frame first. The frame has mounting holes at the exact location where the 3rd row seat brackets reside, i.e remove the 3rd row seats/ brackets then mount the frame and bolt into these locations. The storage unit then slides on top of the frame and screwed into the frame. The whole system is simple but extremely strong. I don't have any photos of the system 1/2 installed to show you the frame but I hope the description gives you a better idea. As mentioned in the ad, I will throw in the cargo barrier for the price listed.

Thanks for the info - think I'm with you on how it mounts.
It's not exactly what I'm after, but if I have no luck and this is still availalbe I'll get in touch after Christmas/New Years.

Hi is the draw system timber or steel and what size fridge will it take also what area of melb are you in,I will be in melb this week.I presume it is still for sale?

Hi Ronzo,

Yes its still for sale.

The drawer system is made of timber but sits on a steel frame - the system is very strong. The fridge slide comes with the system.
I fitted a 40L Engel fridge. Please send me a PM if you want to have a look at this.
