Dont forget the stud hole thickness is 20mm where it shuold be 15mm as per original prado rims.

I will hold off for the moment Phil. I am looking at two options in QLD and WA. Working shift work makes it hard to follow-up on things. Still waiting on a response from the type shop in relation to what rims i have so I can sell them and also about postage costs etc for other rims I have in mind. Hopefully it should be sorted next week one way or another.

Hi All, thought i'd get on this thread and ask if ROH Trojan alloy rims (17x7.5) six stud will fit a 2012 GX? If so then i'll purchase them Monday if reasonably priced inturn i will have surplus 5 brand new GX alloy rims 17x6.5 rims with Dunlop AT20 Grandtrek 245/70/R17 for sale if anyone interested?

Any help will be appreciated,

They'll fit if the offset is between ET25 to ET12.5 to remain legal.

Thanks Amts! Looks like they will....since you arent that far away in regional SA terms you wouldnt know anyone keen to get into the prado club as i have a 2005 Prado GXL for sale. Got all the fruit on it eg. ARB deluxe bullbar with fogs winch provisions, ARB safari snorkel, ARB tradesman roof rack, under belly protection plates, OME suspension, Hella spot lights, side steps, outback draw system with fridge slide and outback cargo barrier, red arc break controller system, dual batteries, anderson plug, Bridgestone A/T tyres 70% etc.

Would be happy to puy up pic's if anyone keen for further look.

Measured my Toyota Phoenix alloys today which are ET30 and I got ET32. Winston, perhaps a remeasure is needed ? I just can't believe Toyota would make the same style alloy with 2 different offsets.

I just remembered that there was once an eBay seller overseas that sold the factory alloys. Perhaps these are from them and they make them in different specs.

This actually looks like it was originally a standard 120 series GXL alloy rim that's been modified from an ET30 offset to an ET20 offset by adding 10mm to the hub. The stamp on the rim is 30 but the sticker reads ET20 offset with a CB110 centre bore.

I maintain these rims are modified GXL rims. They are cast with "Toyota" and "17x7.5JJ 30" inside the spokes, which means they were originally an ET30 rim. Also, there is another stamp at the 12o'clock position on the hub that reads "20" and "110 CB":
