Found a reference to TNF 89/16 which is apparently the DPF replacement and ecu upgrade

The dealer just got back to me, they can't find a recall, so a general quiet replacement may still be in the pipeline....

DPF "Possible" recall....???
On the Fortuner forum there is talk of a possible recall regarding the DPF's on the Fortuner, Hilux and prado's. Has anyone got confirmation of this....Last edited by Piggy; 09-02-2017, 01:12 PM.

Yeah I know the exhaust should be spotless which is why they did a forced regen and injector learn last service after I pointed it out.
