I run with Turbo Boost, Water Temp, LPH and KMH (set for my tyres) The X Guage for the turbo boost is very good, keep half an eye on it when going uphill towing and modulate the right foot to keep the boost just under the kickdown point. Talking about guage accuracy, Has anyone noticed strange results from fuel use when 4wding. You can drive on sand in low third and get 12LPH. Then require 20 litres less than the guage says when refueling. Running on the black stuff towing or not it is always within a litre. The instant fuel use readout does not seem to take gearing into acount. Manually drop down a gear going up hill and the fuel use drops 20 percent or so!!!

They seem to pretty accurate to me. Updates every second or so.
I got the bios upgraded from version 3 bios to version 4 so it could read the Auto temp as well. (Version 3 wont).
I run Water temp, ATF Temp, Volts and Revs readings on mine.
You can also clear ECU codes etc.
Of course it always good to see what the trip litres per hundred is on the diesel as well , so I can rub salt into the wounds of my petrol commrades ;-)
            Cheers

                Roughly
                -Water temps arpound 87-90 degrees
-ATF about mid 80ish normally. But have seen up to 100ish on some 4wding. I dont tow anything. This is a lot more variable then the water temp as you can imagine, you can see the temps rise sitting in drive in heavy traffic/ lights and fall as you move. etc.

                Cheers

Changed my display today to include ATF . I have entered the code, but a little confused on the readings. At cold I get 3.2 (or thereabouts), and once warm it climbs to around 7.0. What is this?

                    Hi Signature035, Try this code below for Trans temp. Will work from 2011 Prado onwards that I know of;

                    +07E121D9 (TXD)
                    +032180000000 (RXF)
                    +1810 (RXD)
                    +0003004DFE70 (MTH)
(3 letters available so name it as you wish)

Just check the code you have with the one above.

Stock 150 and have been running the Unit for 2 weeks now.
water temp - in any condition has been from 82-86c
Auto - sits around 75, but seen it peak at 89c

Dose anyone have the codes for Air/Fuel ratio?

Just got my Scangauge ! Im pretty impressed with it!

For some reason i keep on getting a continuous loop of pending trouble codes. It keeps on counting up to 99, then starts again. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Thanks for bring this up nightrod111.

When I thought I had a boost reading issues I run the test to see if I had any pending code errors. I can tell you that I get the same as what you describe.

Doing a scan will just do a scan and repeat I believe - someone correct me if wrong. If you have no errors recorded after pressing the scan button from the main menu I think you are ok.
