To try and keep it simple.
On a sov bar the winch is upside down compared to most. So yes just turn it 180. Should not mess with wiring.
When they say on the winch it must be under wind, they mean don't spool it the other way etc, as this will wreck the brake.
It won't matter which way you mount it side ways if you want lol..... After all some winches are in all angles & sideways winching sometimes, just hopefully not upside down by accident.
If you undo the 4 bolts the winch should fall out easily.
Ohhhh and these bars are real easy to r&r.
The hardest part is unsolder UHF plug and pulling that through and back later, that Ain't hard!
