ARB Bar Antenna Mounts

Sorry if this has been covered but I cant find anything surprisingly, although I have been told Im a bit thick

I want to mount an antenna on an ARB Deluxe winch bar on the top tube near the uprights NOT in the provided holes down low on the ends of the bar.

Has anybody got a decent mount that works on the top tube

Theres not enough clearance between the top bar and the bonnet when you open it.
About 40mm at best.

Bought a GME bull bar antenna mount but cant use it, unless I point it forward of course!!!!

Any ideas?

I've just put on a saddle mount from PE Fabrications onto the top rail of my ARB bar:

I also have one of the folding mounts on top of the saddle, but you can just as easily mount an antenna directly to the saddle. The saddles are about $50 each including postage and you can get them white, black and hammertone, probably a bit steep for what it is (you may be able to find an engineering firm to knock one up cheaper, maybe), but seems to do the job well so far.

Try RFI a lot of two way stores will carry their gear and a bit sharper on the price

that said we use the PEFab fold down mounts on the Codan 9350 Autotunes and they a great piece of kit. The PEFab mounts have 2 hose clamps rather than the RFI single so if you plan to swing a monster antenna they might be the go.

But if it's a UHF the RFI will be fine.

Just ordered a PE fabrication saddle.
A bit dear at $50 but Express post is included.
I caught him on the tractor spraying weeds but he rushed home to send it today.

Try GME also, they have a wide range of mounting brackets, one of which pictured below

I actually bought the GME MB103 thinking that would do the job but there is not enough clearance once fitted to the top tube to open the bonnet.
Nothing else looked suitable.
