Instead of legs, I would weld a deeper RHS or angle across the width next to the existing beam to stop the deflection. This leaves all the underside clear to store stuff.

So much for getting a set of legs. Will need to have a go at making a set from memory. The part I can not picture it how they attach to the rack. Anyone want to share a pic?
I got this off their website gallery

With all this getting ready for the 2012 GTG, I thought I would show you what I have added to my rack to get ready.
The fridge slide has been on since day one but have just added a bracket to secure a couple of extra boxes to the rack.
I have a couple of legs coming to support this when we are away. It doesn't bend but does get a bounce up when off road.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

I have had a PM asking how I have held my fridge slide to the rack so thought I would just post the pictures up here.
As you can hopefully see I have just flat steel spanning the mesh to take the load and bolts with nyloc nuts to secure everything.
The front left corner is mounted directly through the frame. This was so the slide can sit as far to the left as possible.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

Hi Michael
I am about to buy a second row fridge mount and just wanted to confirm that the 47lt ARB fridge does mount without any modification to the Lifestyle mount? Also does the door open all the way in the second row without hitting the roof?
Cheers Brett.
Originally posted by photoprado View PostNo need, I have the ARB and it fits just fine. You cannot open the lid all the way, but because it's a lengthways opening lid, that's not surprising. We have subsequently bought the 2nd row fridge mount and it works a treat. Better for fridge and access as long as you have passenger room IMO.

Hi All,
John, from Lifestyle racks has stopped making these, because demand dropped off. Is anyone interested in getting one made? Maybe if we get enough numbers, he will do another batch. Failing that, does anyone have a rack for sale. These are a great rack, easy to put in and out. I had one on a previous Prado.
Cheers
Geoff
