  • ARB awning - where to attach guy ropes?

I have just fitted an ARB awning, and it came with two tent pegs and two ropes.
I can not see, where the ropes should be routed to tie the awning down.
Do any of you perhaps have a close up pic of how to do it please?

Can't really remember how we attached ours (haven't had it out for a while), but you might be able to work it out from pic.

      Hi Rudi
The guy ropes should have eyes or loops on one end this connects over the pole if Not tie it onto the little spigot.
The other end connects to the peg with a loop made with the adjuster that gives the guy tension.
The poles also have small loops to peg them down.
      Cheers

The guide ropes would tie into the holes of the horizontal bar at the end. Have seen a couple that had a hook tied to the end of the guide rope and just hooked that through the same hole, saved having to tie the ropes on each time.

I have used small carabiners attached to the ropes and then clip them into holes in the rail near the poles, no knot work and quick and easy.

            Cheers

I like these ideas, will be doing that for ours. Much more convenient than tiying off.
