I ended up using a square of this cut to the size of the backing plate. It is used on industrial sites to stop vibration.

Another location for the air compressor.

I had the toolbox version that has a nice bracket already so it was easy to bolt to the side of the drawers on the driver's side.

just finished installing my high output onboard everything worked fine switchlight turned on when i turned it on, but the compressor wouldnt? i got the multimeter out and checked the volts on the battery which was around 12v, then checked the volts on the wiring that connected straight to the compressor and it was reading 21volts , i was thinking a faulty relay?

any clues appreciated.

Plug the hose in, you may need to release some air so the pressure switch will release.

Plug your air hose into the coupling on the compressor, normally by the time it fills the hose the compressor will have started.
