not sure if this is going to help. when i did my old install the wiring for the reverse camera piggy backed off the clock/ multifunction display and used that harness that i got from toyota. can't remember which part number now, would have to check.

I have a separate question now... i've gone to an aftermarket headunit now and am considering amping all 4 speakers. I've changed all my speakers in the doors and had noticed what looks to be some spare wires?? potentially for a situation such as mine? does any one know if these link back up to the dash somewhere, or under the seat perhaps where the upper models have a factory amp?

well I finally worked it out, everything is working beautifully. The process is not as straight forward as this thread would indicate. I had to overcome the " no sound " issue, the poor AM radio signal and how to power the camera. Anyway all done

Its 2023...Has anyone in recent times upgraded their head unit To a double din touch screen set-up?
Just after some recommendations for my GXL
Preferably with a reverse camera facility.
