I've had two 120 Prado's (one V6, one D4D) and installed Ironman snorkels myself (taking approx 3 hours), and I find the Ironman snorkel quiet and well made.
The snorkel comes with a cardboard template to help you drill the holes, obviously you will need large drills to perform the job (8mm, 16mm and 95mm wholesaw), as these are costly to purchase I recommend to borrow or arrange someone else to install

Uni-Filter "Droopy or sock" pre-filter for snorkels

I also have been using Uni-Filter pre-filters in my snorkels for over 2 years (http://www.uniflow.com.au/contents/en-us/d2.html) and they are brilliant.
I haven't experienced any issues with the performance of the engines and they capture 90% of the dust and debri prior to your main airfilter, so you main airfilter has a much longer life
And the best part is Uni-Filter is an Australian company
