Bluetooth problems with microphone sensitivity
Like Glipschitz and Robbo (search separate post), I am having problems being heard via my bluetooth handsfree. (GXL TD June 2008 with Opt pk1). The in car audio for received calls is excellent.
I have read all the posts adjusted the volume etc and paired my Nokia 6230i and wife's Nokia 6267 without problems and the people I am speaking to complain that I am very faint and distant. I had the unit checked out at my 1000Km inspection and they too said everything was OK. Fearing old software in my 6230i was the cause, I upgraded to a 6120 on Telstra's Next G network 2 weeks ago and even with 7 Bar signal strength people complain I am faint and distrant !
Service manager has been told Fujitsu Ten are working on a solution though no timescale has been given.
Has anyone found a way for increasing the gain on the microphone of the unit ? It is driving me nuts ! Help - not what I expected in a Toyota.
