Re: Seat covers
Well I went ahead and bought a set. I had a good look over them in the shop and they seem to have decent stitching and seams on them. The canvas material seems to be durable enough and the soft underlay they have should go some way to reducing marks on the velour seat material of the original seats. Man what a pain to fit though! I'd have spent a good 40mins on the first one (passengers side  ) and a good 1/2 hour on the 2nd seat. The trouble was, there is absolutely zero fitting instructions included with them so you're left to figure it all out for yourself. There's straps and laces going all over the place! But with persistence I had it figured. This is all after a few glasses of wine too I might add ! :? Being an "all rounder" type seat cover the fit isn't perfect. You get a few areas of loose canvas up on the head rests and around the base of the seats as well. A glaring omission seems to be a strap going crossways under the seat to take up any bulging canvas you might end up with. Tweaking the overall fit I could reduce the bulging at the base but heck you need patience! They have laces running up each side of the seat backrests. This is so you can tighten and loosen as required to cater for the curves in the type of seat you've got. Works well, but you end up with crimped canvas running all the way up the side of your backrest. No biggie, but some people may not like the folds. All the strapping is of a decent quality and you get decent plastic clips to snap all the straps together once in place. The other good thing is you get small pockets at the front of the seat (below your knees like) and also on the sides of the base. The map pockets behind the backrest are the goods too. Not the fit of Black Duck, that's for sure, but if you can handle a good 1/2 hour adjusting the fit then you get some pretty good quality seat covers for the price.
