AMTS, I have palns to make a rear bar for my 120 at some stage (if i ever get time). I dont have any intentions of removing my original towbar to make the rear bar though, for the reasons you already pointed out it would be overly difficult IMO.
Just a thought.

Over to you AJ!!
From what I can see, if someone was to design a rear bar to fit alongside a Toyota towbar, then it wouldn't pose such an issue. But if someone had a HR towbar, then there would be an issue with trying to get good mounting points for the rear bar. Will have to take off the bumper to see if there are any suitable attachment points on the cross member.

If I make one it will only be one, I don't have the gear to go into production for something as complex as a rear bar, so don't let me stop you from designing one Andrew.
