Re: Steel side steps, do they make them?
Well I've had my D McRae slider steps for a few weeks now, and although fitting wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped ( Not the fault of Darren or his steps...Bloody Chassis welding by Toyota ), They are on and they look damn fine indeed. Even my Jeep owning, Toyota hating neighbour has commented on just how good they look. That has got to say something all by itself. It wasn't a one man job on the passanger side ( that problematic chassis weld ), but in normal circumstances in would have been do-able for one man, but definately easier with help. Had the father-in-law come 'round to give a hand and the job complete with problem solving took two and a half hours. The chassis problem took up the bulk of that time as we had to slightly and very carefully modify some of Darrens quality handiwork, but in the end we got there. I will try and figure out how to post pictures soon.
