Wheel Arch Inner Guards

Guys,

I recall seeing a post of mod to secure the front wheel inner plastic guards using nutserts. I can't seem to find it using search. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Obviously your talking about the inner guard lining, ie not the actual flare?
I recently had to remove my guard to fit a snorkel and had to order a few plastic "grommets" to replace the ones damaged during removal.. Are these what you are referring to?

That's correct, the inner guard lining.

I did a water crossing recently and the factory plastic flare plugs are in need of replacement. I'm supprised the plastic lining was still on the vehicle as it was severely distorted out of shape.

I want to use nutserts so I don't have to keep replacing the plastic plugs everytime I do a water crossing.
