  • Steering Wheel Pulling Left When Stopping

    Hi,
I've noticed when pulling up to a stop that my steering wheel pulls to the left. When I drive on a straight road I don't notice the car pulling to the left.

I've checked the front brake pad wear by looking through the rims and both sides seem to be wearing evenly. I havn't taken the wheels off to check the inside pad.

Other than brake pads, any thoughts on what else the problem could be?

    Thanks,

Blockage in brake tube restricting fluid to brakes on one side. Seized Pistons in brake calliper.
1997 petrol auto, 430 000km. Still going strong.
2004 petrol auto, 233 000km. Cracked dash and no help from Toyota!

      Ok thanks.

I'll check the pistons. How do I check the lines for restriction?

Can anyone confirm if the following part number is the correct caliper kit for a 120 prado: 47739-60081.

If it is I'll order it online today other wise I'll wait until Monday to confirm with Toyota parts.

        Thanks,
