PROTEX ROTORS

Ive just changed out the front rotors on my 120 with 160000km on the clock with protex rotors and lucas pads. The rotors were probably still ok but had them machined at 100000km so decided to go new ones. The protex ones were quite resonable at 120 ea and the lucas pads were 80 for the pair .
the difference in braking is remarkable. excellent pedal feel and nice progression. best 320 bucks ive spent in a long time.

Let us know how the pedal feels after the cross hatched pattern is worn off the new rotors. My factory pads and rotors felt great until the cross hatching was worn down. The pads used to produce lots of dust with the cross hatching. Now they run clean but seem to feel faded all the time (45 000km on them).
