    e-Locker

    Hi guys,

    Does anyone have Eaton Lockers? I am considering installing front and rear lockers in my 120. Are they any good? I have heard some very good reports. I believe they are more expensive than ARB which doesn't concern me if they are good and reliable.

    What could I expect to pay for them installed too?

    They seem like an alright product. I don't think they are available for the front of 120 or 90 series Prados. Installation would be cheaper than an air locker I would imagine. No air hoses or O-rings to fiddle around with, just a 12V cable to the diff. Quite an elegant design really.

    But if you plan on having an onboard air compressor and you want the front end locked too, air lockers may be a better/neater choice.

      Works out same price as air locker. But they are only available for the rear, for now.
      2004 Prado GXL. v6 auto, ARB deluxe bar, exhaust, 2" EFS lift kit, Outback Acc rear bar,
      rallye 2000 spots, roof mount dvd, dig_options stereo, toyota roof bars.

        Not sure if you've heard of the auto lokka which is cheaper and also for the rear diff only.

          Locktup 4wd also have a few other rear locker options.
          A ZIP lock. air locker, only about $999 (plus compressor)
          and another auto locker, a Yukon Grizlee? or similar, about $600, meant to be better on road mannered than a Lokka, (no clicks etc) and a bit stronger too.

              Very impressive. I'm not likely ever to have a locker, but what an eye-opener this is.
              White 08 Standard with ABS/cruise option pack, D4D/6-man, std 6" steel rims with Cooper AT3 235/70R17s, added roof rails, bullbar, towbar, ScanGauge II, custom-built aux power pack, Bushman multi-capacity fridge on slide, on DIY removable false floor. Often towing an Ultimate camper-trailer.
