I just dug up an old quote from ARB Adelaide. (couple months back) and they quoted:
      Front or Rear locker. $1097.10
      Install Diff $300.00
      Tyre & Diff Compressor $160.00.
      Diff only $115.00 to fit.

Walked in off street, no club discount applied to this from what I know.

I am keen for an Air Locker, might not be till next year, but surely, if enough people were interested they could supply and fit a front or rear for around $1600, if there were 10 or more of us.

This idea (bulk install) would be good, as we could turn around and all go test them them out together afterwards!

I will be keen, but as I said probably not until about 1/4 to 1/2 way into 2008 at this stage!!

I was quoted under $1400 to supply & Install, so I would hope they could do better then that on a bulk buy!!

                yep,

I which case if one person can get them for $1400, then 10 should get them for no more that $1200 fitted I would reckon??

Did this group buy end up happening? Trying to find threads showing an Airlocker install on a prado (90 or 120 series).

                          Re: ARB Locker

I'm just about to bite the bullet and fit a set of front and rear air lockers to the Prado. As Canberra (Fyshwick) is the nearest dealer for me I'm wondering if anyone has had lockers (or anything else sigificant) fitted there and if they were happy with the quality of the install.

Can't comment on the air lockers but can comment on ARB Fyshwick's service - had my bullbar and snorkel installed there, they offer great service and honest unbiased advice.

Did you end up getting these installed? I'm seriously thinking of getting front and rear lockers installed in my rig and wanted to see what you thought of yours.

Yep - all fitted and working. I got them done at ARB Fyshwick a couple of weeks ago. The guys expected it to take a day and a half but in the end had in finished in a day. It probably helped that I already had the compressor installed. We did some camping up around the Deua National Park and the fire trails around the Bendethra Caves. Great camping and driving. Not too difficult and I really could have driven all the roads just as easily without the diff locks but it was a nice place to get a feel for them and make sure everything was working smoothly.

Interestingly the guys at ARB have set it up so that the front lock can't come on without the rear one already engaged. Not what I was expecting but probably a good safety feature and there probably isn't any reason to want to run the front locker by itself anyway. The Fyshwick guys did a good job - nice neat work and well finished. Absolutely delighted with the outcome.
