I had to pull out my gearbox to replace rear crank main seal and re fitted and my gears don’t work at all. Everything was working fine before I pulled it out. Auto transmission. What am I missing or not doing?

Check trans fluid lines and level.
Check connectors.

Yep checked all that and fine and normal. Have pulled it out and back in three times and still won’t engage gears. Could it be my torque?Comment

Did the torque convertor move at all?
If it moved forward and disengaged when the box was pulled back or sitting afterwards while replacing the seal it most likely has not been refitted correctly.
If that is the case you will get no pressure hence no drive.

I did something similar, didn't align the converter properly and had no drive. Stuffed the converter. Hope your one is still goodComment
