I don't have any of the problems described in this thread. I love the 6 speed box.
i have just had my clutch replaced in my 120 series .The gear box has just developed and hard to change 1st - 2nd gear(it improves when the boxs gets warm) .Previously i had also used Valvoline Duragear 75w-90 . i believe my mechanic has used what ever he had ??? .So i will be changing the oil this weekend- i hope this is the fixComment

My 2 cents worth after having the gearbox removed twice with issues once by Toyota (who did nothing but change out bearings and still had the same issues) the second time I changed out the original box with less Km's on but asked to have Amsoil Servere Gear SAE 75W-90 synthetic extreme pressure lubricant put in. Ok,
Just dropped the multitrax and replaced it with castrol syntec 75w-90. Will let you know if it helps the third gear syncro problem.

just replaced the oil in the box over the weekend and it seams to of made a improvement .Comment
