Gave up on the trans temp functions, the gauge is very accurate and easy to use. The performance test functions are fun to use also. I haven't programmed the x-gauges yet, as yes it's been 2.5 months since I got the new SG, but I started a new job the week after I got it and haven't had much time to spend sorting the features out.[CENTER][B][U]Matt

Hi Mark
Thanks for the info on setting up the auto transmission fluid temperature on X-guage, for scanguage 11 ver 4.02. I will be ordering the new version on Monday. Did you get yours from ample outdoor?
Have any other pradopoint users purchased the scanguage 11 ver 4.02 and are sucessfully monitoring the automactic transmission fluid temperature?
My prado is a 2009 built GXL D4D
Cheers Paul

You will need to upgrade to v4.02 it's a new function avaliable with the upgrade.

With the new 4.02 version, are u limited when refuelling to a 20% percentage difference. Mine is currently set at 44%, and this is about 99% accurate when I go to refuel the Prado, so I'm a little bit unsure if it's really worth the upgrade

I can also confirm that the TFT X code does not work on Pre- V 4.02. I would like to see the firmware upgrades made available via download off the internet with a USB cable or similar. Filling out a form and losing all calibrations and sending it off to have this upgrade it really old school. I'd also like to see more displayable info. at a glance. I normally have Volts, Coolant temp, LHK and Average. Having to press buttons to get TFT up is less than ideal. I'm not sure it's worth the $ 50. What do others think?2004 GXL V6, 5 Sp Auto

Is the upgrade worth it? Everyone will have a different take on this, but for me, towing a van 90% of the time, I am keen to know what's happening temperature wise in the auto box. I have been waiting for the release of the codes for auto fluid temp for over 2 years now, but alas, my SG is at Ver 3.16.
It would be handy if those who are running v4.02+ on their SG2 and using the auto fluid trans codes could log their findings here... http://scangauge.com.au/?cat=11 ...to provide more feedback for development of these and other codes.
Cheers
Greg

As a matter of interest why does it cost $50 for the upgrade in AUS but only $25 for the upgarde in the US. ( check out the forms on eath site) When our dollar is stronger than the US dollar... Another instance of us paying too much in Aus....
btw it should have a USB port or like where you upgade it yourself instead of shipping the unit back.[B]Robert
