    Re: Spotlight Switch?

With the AUD up against the US$ I'm going to order some of the OE switches, does anybody want to split postage with me?

Hey D4D, you are right with the AUS dollar up they look the treat. Shame I already have another type on its way. Are they keyed at all or will they go into any of the holes?

        Re: Spotlight Switch?

Wondering if there are any issues with fitting the Carling Rocker switches. I realise you need to file the sides of the hole to fit but to now does the switch fit tightly in the hole?

Going to fit switch this weekend and wanted to make sure there is no hidden tircks of the trade I need to know about.

Is there any benefit in the 'FJ' switches at $70US over the Newpro around $40? http://newpro-tech.com.au/gallery3.htm

No issues that I experienced? Just be careful with the filing. Take your time and try the switch along the way. Remember there is no rush so don't shave off more than you need too. I have a resoanbly tight fit such that it hasn't rattled out at all

Yes they are a factory switch hence same finish and they have a white lamp rather than the orange on the NewPro Tech switches

The two newpro switches i fitted both have a white lamp, the way I wired them the dash lights cause a normal background light and when it is switched on an additional lamp (led's?) lights up within the switch giving the required indication that the lights are actually turned on
