7" 55W HID euro and spot beam driving lights

Has anyone done an install and taken pics that wants to do a writeup? I'm just waiting for a weekend that I'm not out 4WDing to do the actual install.

Not a bad idea there Mr End! especially for the PP'ers who aren't so tecnologically minded, like myself!

I'm not the most technical person, but here is how I did it (from memory);
1. Unpack lights from box.
2. Unpack and identify loom - Black - earth, Red - power, White - high beam pick-up, Small black box - relay, Switch assembly & double sided tape.
3. Install lights on bull bar.
4. Run loom from lights to battery.
5. Identify high beam wire with test light and attach high beam pick-up wire to this.
6. Install relay under bonnet (I put mine next to battery)
7. Run switch through grommet in firewall to drivers area.
8. Attach switch to suitable location on dash where you can easily reach it.
9. Connect Earth to earth point on firewall near battery.
10. Connect lights.
11. Connect Power to battery.
12. Test and align lights.
13. Check all connections and secure any loose wiring with cable ties.

I think that covers it.

Don't forget split corrugated conduit to protect the wires.

Hi Andrew,

I would be interested in a pair of black 7 inch euro beams. Do you have the measurements/dimensions for the lights, or do you know if they will fit a T13 bar for a 150?

What did the cost come in at for the last order?

They are 230mm high and fits on the ARB deluxe bar as shown by SGS, if that helps.

I have a few lights available if anyone wants some. Quantities below are individual lights, not pairs. The spots are a good addition between a pair of euros.

4x red euros (gone)
3x red spots
2x black euros (gone)

How do the 4" 55W versions compare in light output to the 7" version? Whats the importance of the reflector size?

I'm after something small so I don't restrict airflow through the grill too much. My main use for lights is when driving on country highways at night.
