I'm hoping a decent price = decent quality. Brighter light out the back when reversing would be super handy as our tint is very dark.
Alternative was to get a small LED spot on the rear and a switch so we could get more rear light but the bulbs would be heaps easier.
    Hi BiLLzOr
I have these bulbs and they are not much better than the OE only whiter (LED), they are the second pair of LED globes that I have tried, both disappointing. Yesterday I finished exactly what you are thinking of doing and wired up a pair of LED Work Lights that are mounted on the back of the Rhinorack platform and switched independently from the center dash (near the gear stick), one points out the back for reversing and the other out to the passenger side for camping etc .

Thanks mate. As a matter of fact about 10mins after posting the query I won 2 LED work lights on ebay bundled with a lightbar so maybe it was fate.
Did you run the wiring down the windscreen channel?
2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.

No, I ran the two cables down the passenger side cable tray from their NewproTech switches (which are the bees knees) along under the passenger side door scuff panels into two relays (one for each light) that are mounted on the body metalwork in above where the jack is. The lights are powered from the relays through a fused Blue Seas power board in the little cubby hole compartment above the jack cover that I put in a while back. I ran the 3 cores (2 from the powerboard and one neg) from the powerboard up to the roof lining and out through a grommet (make sure you shape the cables into a J shape where it comes out of the grommet to stop water running in along the wire) above the rear door seal to the roof rack and work lights. It was a lot of work but should not have any problems with them for a long time.
