Where did you purchase the light and what's the brand. May do the same on my rig.

Hey thats a cool idea, I done this about a week after i bought mine. Works very well, also makes the reverse camera work better at night too. Gets a little blinding when i have the camper trailer attached (polished alloy tool box on front).

I used this led light in flood beam.

Yeah, the new globes make a difference but the light dispersement is still too high. The only fix is the extra light facing down just like Jus10 has done.
It just so happens that I have a bolt with a hole down the center that will give me access to into the rear door cavity to the connect into the reverse light wiring loom. Thanks AMTS.

hey mate been thinking off this for ages, with a similar light, youve just inspired me to do it. Looks like you used a spacer and a longer bolt?

Yep, used a longer square-neck bolt from another light I had. The spacer was just an old 3/8 socket I had laying around the garage from and old unused socket set. The light itself is one that the company I work for gets made by a lighting company in Asia (not China). I got permission to be able to sell them at a wholesale level to PP members, which is around $42+GST if anyone wants one. They are quality not cheap ebay-type stuff.

Sure, a container just landed so heaps available. I'll get an exact price for you. Send me an email with your location and I'll ask the despatch guys for a freight quote too if you aren't in Brissie (I couldn't tell from your profile). If you are in Brissie then you can pick up from the warehouse at Archerfield.

                    Cheers,
                    Jus10.

Ok, so I requested a price for PP members and got the reply. I was pretty close with what I thought it would be but still a little off. Can also be shipped anywhere in Oz. PM for details.
