Hey guys, just looking at my best option for an over-ride switch for the Traction Control and ABS on my VX 120. To say the system is a pain on the sand is an understatement. I want it off and want full control and manual braking and throttle.
I've found the grey plug on the master cylinder and tested that it does disable the above with no ill effects and it all seems good once you plug it back in and re-start. Happy Days.
I do however want to put a factory switch on the dash for this and was just going to cut one of the wires and run a 2 core flex to a switch on the dash. I was hoping to use a factory looking labeled switch but was wondering if anyone could tell me how much current is going through those wires. Their only fine gauge and are only powering a sensor so I'm guessing it's only very small. The switch I want to use is good for 3 amps. I am very anal about my wiring, it is all extremely neat and properly done so this will be no exception.
Can anyone see any problems doing this? I've got a link to the switch I've ordered in.
Thanks, Ben
