Hi all,
I have been thinking about a Dual battery solution that Battery World mentioned where a 105Ah battery is installed under the front Passengers seat. The battery needed to fit such an installation is the Remco RM12-105FT AGM battery. Go here to see it ( http://www.remco.com.hk/e/default_home.asp ) You'll have to use the product search at the top of their page.
These batteries are flat and similar to a small brief case in appearance.
Anyway, was just wondering what everyone's opinion was on this idea. Originally was thinking something along the lines of a Piranha tray and 75Ah battery. However the guard cracking possibility is bothering me a bit. 75Ah batteries start at around the 22Kg mark and go up from there. To match the battery solution/capacity mentioned above I'd need to be prepared to sit around 32Kg's on the right front guard. I spoke to Piranha today and they said 22kg is absolute MAX weight for their tray (As per Exide ED5 they recommend).
Anyway - Discussions = Go !
Thanx.
P.S - The 105FT is expensive !! but lets ignore those details and focus on technicals.
