Fuel gauge calibration

Just wondering if the fuel gauge can be recalibrated in a 120 to show the fuel in 1 tank only,
My Prado has been fitted with an LPG tank so when the only fuel tank is full the guage shows half.

Try sticking a 110 ohm resistor in the plug to the rear tank sender unit, between pins 1 and 3 (brown and yellow/black wires)
