Has anyone made a battery tray/mount utilising the rails from the 3rd row seats?

Yep mate, exactly. Just trying to nut out how to fit the battery tray itself to the bar that the seat used to attach to. I have some ideas but they are a bit hazy, want it solidly mounted.. thought I'd see what other people have done - cheers
PS will be a 240ah battery. It should easily fit in the hole between the fridge and sidewall OK (it's pretty skinny). Still waiting on delivery for this one

Thanks mate, that looks pretty tidy..
Was thinking I could use the existing bolts.
Current plan is to get a 3mm piece of flat steel bent at a 90 degree to attach to the outside of the fridge slide and angle over to the bolts.
Can extend the existing bolts with threaded rod to suit height..
This should give a solid platform for creating a battery box
I'll try to attach a pic..

Good point about the defect notice. The whole thing will end up being boxed and carpeted so it'd take a bit of work to spot
Even then I'm guessing I could remove the tray, reattach the seat mounts to clear it and put it back together afterwards if I needed to
the plate steel base tray is the best concept as yet (thought about welding some unistrut for a frame etc) - would be interested to see if anyone has a neater or just plain better idea that I could use?

It's a good idea
I had thought along these lines and possibly use a bit of heavy cable tray with it as well
Problem being I need to right angle the -other- side (fridge side) 90 degrees and down to floor level to secure it so it has two pints of attachment
Trying to avoid bolts as much as I can because they can rattle loose and I can't weld to save my life... unless you can get unistrut in a 90 angle and I just haven't seen it (entirely possible)
I guess I'm just trying to get the thing rock solid first go and then I can forget about it
Need to do something soon tho - esky beer works but fridge beer is better haha
