Okey dokey, another crap ARB design, what a friggen hassle to change a globe.
They couldnt have just fixed the housing via the outside instead of the inside could they, like everyone else, nahhhhh, that would be too easy

Anyway, I just fitted them and they fit in the housing no problem.



Parkers are good



But the blinkers are so bright that they make the lens appear quite yellow though!



Maybe I can use them for fog lamps :-)

anyone done anything with regards to swapping out the std indicator/parkers on the ARB bar recently?

I notice there is this seller on ebay that has these ...along with combinations of these and some LED driving light replacements... like this listing...

however i'd be super keen to give these new(ish) narva ones a go... if you could cut the shroud away a little so the entire light is exposed (by my reckoning the corners would be covered by the shroud)... it would be quite a classy look. I haven't been able to find a single one of these lights at any of the narva stockists around me (although everyone seems to stock narva gear!) ...don't want to order them if i haven't got a hope in hell of fitting them.

I tried and purchased some full LED replacements, but they do not fit the current bar design. The LED globe replacement is the only current solution.

Pain in the ass as I would like a fully sealed LED solution myself. If you are in SE Melbourne you could have a look at the ones I have if you want to try something.

I saw some Auto style LEDs at Jaycar the other day. Has anyone tried them?

Mine's an early 2009 bar with the non-Narva fogs. I'm guessing the easy fit LED parker/indicator unit is a no go for that bar.

Edit: Ordered a set from Brightlightautoparts. Half the price of the Jaycar units above, even including express shipping.

Well, the LEDs arrived double quick and I fitted them last night.

The reason I ordered them was that the LHS indicator globe was not working. After a lot of faffing about, it turns out the reason was not another blown globe at all - the 3 pin connector fitted by ARB on the light was so shoddily installed that the electrical connection for both the parker and indicator would turn on and off as I handled the connector! A small tug was all that was required to pull the corroded wires from the crimps. POS!

Didn't have a spare set of lugs for it, so I cut the connector out, soldered and heatshrink'd the connections. Also noticed ARB has used scotchlocks to pick up the feed behind the factory lights. Grumble...

I had to remove the LHS underplate from the bar to sort the problem, but having done that, I was able to swap the RHS globes by unscrewing the two screws holding the indicator light assembly to the black plastic housing. It was a bit of a fiddle to put it back but far less than removing and refitting the underplate.

The good news is that the LEDs fit fine and work great. I ordered the 18 LED versions for both.

I had the same problem with the ARB Globes.

Lasted one month before both blew.

Lets also grumble bout the fact that you have to take off protection plates to change light globes!!!!

If you are listening SAM from ARB, tell them to stop being tightwads & include decent quality globes.

I should send ARB the bill for replacement globes & the time it takes to change them.
