My 150 came with the capped price servicing. $210 isn't a bad gig for a factory service...even though this will end at the 60K service. My local dealer were using Toyota Genuine which is Caltex 15w-40 CH-4, I posted a photo on a thread around here a while go whilst hanging about waiting for my initial 1500k service.
After hopping in my car after its 10K service I looked up to find a Valvoline sticker...I nearly fainted....upon exiting there was a Valvoline truck pumping out of 44gallon drums into a large onsite vat. I am not overly concerned as I change the oil at 5k intervals using genuine filters and Delo 400. There is an exception to this rule though, my last change was done whilst touring so I used Penrite HPR15 Diesel.
I was always one for the cheapest aftermarket filter however used good quality oils....I am a little wiser, for the extra $10 genuine is the go. A good investment if my motor was to go 'poof' during warranty period.
On another note, all of my other vehicle/toys/home equipment are run with genuine filters and high quality oils......in fact my other vehicle 3.2TD genuine filter is actually cheaper than Supercheap Ryco equivalent.
